I’m Nikki! Curator of atmosphere and founder of the blog Nicolette Shirley.

A space that wasn’t created to be just a magazine for inspiration, but a place where we allow ourselves to slow down together – in silence, away from the noise of the world, in the simplicity of being, and where we allow ourselves to belong to ourselves.

Nicolette Shirley is the name – the brand – under which I create.

It became both my identity and my signature.

I was born in Slovakia, and even though life takes me between three countries, I still see it as my home. I’m a mother – to Nya, my daily source of love, admiration, and inspiration. She’s my closest companion and the one who has taught me more than any teacher ever could. I study interior design – not to become a designer, but to understand the principles that shape how we experience space. Because I don’t see interiors through structure – I feel them through atmosphere.
