Sometimes it takes only a single space for something quiet and essential to shift inside you.
One Sunday, one table, one late afternoon in a small café in a royal historical town not far from my home. Nothing grand on the outside, yet one of those moments that settle deep within. Calm. A quiet certainty. A simple, clear recognition that I had finally found the direction. I had been searching for all along. That feeling of being here and now – in the most right place possible. And perhaps it came precisely because of this: the space spoke a language I understand more than anything else – the language of atmosphere.
A Place That Reaches Beyond Its Walls
I looked around. Soft, intimate light moved through the room and touched every considered detail. I took a sip of my decaf pumpkin spice latte, breathed in – and my smile held complete contentment. Wordless, without any need to describe the feeling. This was the place where my inner world finally grew quiet. And in that moment, I knew he was right. I was sitting in a space that opened that truth within me. With someone who – despite us not speaking the same language – understood my inner language better than anyone before.
The calm wasn’t a metaphor. It was real. The atmosphere of that café struck me so deeply that for a few minutes, I stopped perceiving time. Everything was right. Everything aligned.

A Curator of Atmosphere in a Space With a Soul
In each of my articles, you’ll find either a space with a soul or a soul reflected in a space. But this time, I felt that soul through myself – physically, as it moved through my whole being. Not as a specialist. Not as a curator. Not as someone analyzing proportions, materials, light. But as a woman who, for a moment, felt only herself. To be precise – this atmosphere belongs to Leutschau CAFÉ. A place that proves that when a space is created with respect for light, craft, and quiet, something emerges that reaches far beyond its walls.
This is not a review. It is a thank-you. For a space that allowed me, even for a moment, to understand what it is I actually do – and why.

Where One Finds Oneself Without Trying
When I stepped away for a moment to photograph a few details, I understood that what I’m doing is not an accident. It’s not a hobby, nor an idea, nor an aesthetic experiment. Not even a project I stumbled upon. It is a direction. A path. A return to the things I have carried within me all my life. And perhaps that is why this space allowed me to breathe so deeply – because its soul resonated with mine.
The quiet, the carefully shaped atmosphere, the light falling exactly as it should… It was a moment that reminded me that these are the kinds of places I want to write about. Not as interiors, but as experiences that change the inner tone of a person. That atmosphere is not décor – it is dialogue.

The Beginning of a New Chapter
We don’t always need grand places for grand things to happen to us. Sometimes all it takes is one quiet room, one cup of coffee, and an atmosphere that opens a door inside us – a feeling, an understanding. And now I know with absolute clarity that atmosphere is the language through which I speak the deepest.
With love,
Nikki
